Read MoreAt our next meeting, Council will be discussing a motion concerning the Disabled Transportation Society (DTS). DTS currently operates as an independent non-profit organisation. If passed, this motion will direct administration to take on DTS' operations and governance by adding it to our Transit Department’s portfolio.

The biggest question we will be considering: whether or not to go ahead with the next phases of the Downtown Rehabilitation in the spring.I am leaning towards supporting beginning phase three as soon as possible. However, Council will not be hearing detailed reports and recommendations from administration until later this week. I do have some hesitation, mostly to do with funding.
