Coming Up: January 10

Council meets today.

Council doesn’t have any business of its own to conduct today. However, at every meeting, members of the public are welcome to come address Council. Today, four groups have let us know that they want to come and raise matters of interest. They are:

• Community Futures: updating Council on its current work

• Canadian Championship Air Races: seeking permission from Council to conduct air races in July

• Designated Driving Company: addressing Council on enforcement of the Vehicle for Hire Bylaw

• Pirates Fastball: seeking infrastructure and funding support for fastball in Grande Prairie

I look forward to hearing from these delegations about how we can work together to improve our community.
